Abstract

The Privy Council writes to the Mayor of London, and to the Justices of Middlesex and Surrey. Sundays and Thursdays are traditionally reserved for bear-baiting. So as to avoid interfering with Her Majesty's pleasure, plays are to be banned on these days.
